I am sure you must be remembering Farscape episodes. All those peacekeepers, wormholes, battleships and Scarrans. The Farscape episodes came to an end on 10^th March 2003 when the finale episode was aired. Though the show was supposed to run for another season but unfortunately it was cancelled. And due to this unexpected cancellation the Farscape Season 4 finale episode ended on a cliffhanger.

For all those who have a vague memory for Farscape series, Farscape episodes were based on the few characters who are escaping from Peacekeepers. These characters board on ship named Moya. They are joined by John Crichton (Ben Browder), who has wormhole knowledge in his brain, and Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) also joins them. The episodes have Scorpius, enemy of John. The cast of the show consisted of Anthony Simcoe and Virginia Hey.

Though we saw end of Farscape Season 4 episodes but as the finale had cliffhangers, one of its creator Brian Henson bought its rights and made four hour mini-series to give a proper ending and wrap up the cliffhangers. The mini-series were directed by Brian Henson only and were titled “Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars”. In these series we saw battle between Peacekeepers and Scarrans. And battle comes to an end as both of the sides sign a treaty and John Crichton closes the wormhole. After closing the wormhole all the wormhole knowledge is removed from Crichton’s brain. The creators gave a happy ending as the audience viewed that Aeryn and Crichton become proud parents of a baby boy.

Don’t’ go thinking that the creator of your favorite sci-fi show, Farscape, has started believing in some new age religious movement and such stuff! The title only alludes to a new show, Power of the Dark Crystal, co-produced by Brian Henson.
Fans would remember the original movie, The Dark Crystal that was directed by Brian’s father, Jim Henson. The hugely successful 1982 movie set Jim with the idea of a sequel! However, the idea remained just that, an idea!

What I found enticing was that where the father failed, the son has come to the rescue! According to an announcement, Omnilab Media has joined hands with The Jim Henson Company to bring to fruition the long pending dream of Jim Henson.

One of the most ambitious projects ever to see the light of the day in Australia, the movie will be an eagerly awaited sequel to the fantasy masterpiece!

It seems that Brain Henson is keen to master the art of dolling out highly interesting fictional masterpieces, that are replete with creativity that we all saw in Farscape.

What’s more, the movie will be made using the cutting edge technology of stereoscopic 3D. The screenplay of the movie will be written by Craig Pearce (of Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet fame).

Well, it seems that the son wants to leave no stone unturned in realizing his father’s dream project. You can surely take a look at this movie when it releases.

Virginia, I salute you for the patience you have. I mean sitting for a make-up for hours is really a great thing. I can never do that, I think Virginia is really a remarkable artist and I really respect her for that.

Gorgeous Australian actor Virginia Hey has achieved much recognition from the popular sci-fi Farscape episodes. Who can forget her portrayal of the super-hot blue-skinned Delvians?

I truly enjoyed the show because of her, because she was fantastic as Delvians!
Many of you would know that Virginia’s profile don’t include a whole lot of other projects, apart from Farscape.

So, when the lady was asked whether it’s lack of interest or opportunities that she isn’t doing any other projects, she said, it was not lack of interest or opportunity, it’s just that she had started feeling that she was a little too old to act.

WTF?

Is she serious?

I mean, she better be kidding! Has she taken a proper look at herself in the mirror?

Or perhaps, she should just get a Farscape download, because one look at her, and there are millions who can’t stop themselves from drooling!

Hey went onto say that she didn’t even try to find any other work, after working in the Farscape series.

I’m finding all this a little hard to digest. Who wants to step away from the limelight, once they have tasted success?

Hey also said, “I should have ignored the general consensus amongst the agents I visited in 2002 and forged ahead regardless and fought for the rights of the older glam actress… Ha ha, as it happened, Desperate Housewives did it for me and now the older glam woman is back in Vogue full-force, so I will be getting back into acting…”

But this lady has dipped her hands in other things as well, including creating perfumes, Reiki, designing and much more. When asked to choose her favorite profession, this stunner said that she loved all of them, pretty much the same way a mother loves all her kids.
